Dr. Horsley-Teny

Aaron S. Horsley-Teny, DMD, earned his Bachelor of Science degree from Middle Tennessee State University, where he received the Aaron Todd Pre-Dental award for having the highest GPA in the pre-dental program. He attended Tufts University School of Dental Medicine and received the Merit Scholarship for being in the top ten percent of his class.

For eight years, he worked in a private dental practice in Whitefield, New Hampshire. It is there that he developed a love for oral surgery, performing close to a thousand extractions a year. His passion for oral surgery has led him to serve in dental missions in Peru and Colombia. He is also proficient in bone grafting and placing dental implants. Dr. Horsley-Teny has exceptional skills in an array of dental procedures, including root canal therapy, crowns, fillings, dentures, and pediatric dentistry. He is also a member of the American Dental Association, the Texas Dental Association, and the North Texas Dental Society.

In 2012, he and his wife, Rachel, made the decision to move their family to Texas. Their youngest son was born with spina bifida, and they discovered that the Dallas–Fort Worth metroplex could provide many opportunities for him, as well as access to excellent healthcare. In July 2013, after a year of planning, they moved with their four children—Emily 13, Anna 11, Ethan 7, and Owen 5.

In addition to attending excellent schools, the children are enjoying new-found activities, such as hockey, tennis, and football. Owen has had an amazing exposure to wheelchair motocross, sled hockey, and wheelchair basketball, previously these activities were not available to him.

North Texas has been a blessing to their family, both personally and professionally. They have made many new friends and look forward to further exploring their new home state and seeing what God has planned for their lives.

Dr. Tricia Cueva

Dr. Tricia Cueva spent most of her childhood in the northeast. After earning a Bachelor of Science in biology at Ramapo College of New Jersey, she received her Doctor of Dental Medicine in 2017 from the historic Temple University Kornberg School of Dentistry. Throughout her career she has had the privilege of working in cities like Las Vegas, Houston and Corpus Christi. It was only recently in which her and her husband made the final decision to set their roots down in the DFW area. Dr. Cueva’s love for fine art and science was what first inspired her to pursue a career in dentistry. Very much like paint on a canvas, the transformative process that comes hand in hand with improving her patient’s oral health, allows her to turn every smile she helps into a custom masterpiece. Her practice philosophy focuses on helping patients achieve their best possible smile through safe, honest and professional care.

When she’s not in the office, she enjoys traveling, spending time with her family and exploring different types of cuisines
